Lincoln Country Classic Dairy Goat Show

This show is sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) and their rules shall govern.

  1. The following breeds will be sanctioned by the ADGA: Toggenburg, LaMancha, Saanen, recorded Grade, Oberhasli, Alpine, and Nubian.
  2. Entry fee will be $3.00/animal. Send entries to: Sara Lubbehusen, 7481 E 1400 N, Elnora IN 47529; PH: 812-636-7611
  3. The base date for computing the age of an animal is June 21, 2008
  4. The original registration certificate is required for a doe six months of age or older. The original registration certificate of duplicate application stamped by ADGA office is required for a doe under six months of age and this must be shown to the show secretary before the start of the show. No copies of the registration certificate or the stamped duplicate application, telegrams or phone calls will be accepted in view of the original certificate.
  5. Pens will be provided by the Daviess County Fair. The exhibitors will need to provide their own bedding.
  6. Animals must be checked in and in place by 7:30AM, Saturday June 21, 2008. Release will be immediately following the show. Pens will be available after 3:00PM, Friday, June 20, 2008. The Livestock Committee would appreciate help cleaning up bedding in pens after the show.
  7. No horned animals allowed.
  8. There will be no pre-show milk out.
  9. All animals must have a current health certificate.
  10. Any animals showing signs of infectious disease or ill health will be barred form the barns by the authority of the State Vet on the Daviess County Livestock Committee
  11. The Daviess County Fair will not be responsible for animals, personal property or accidents.
  12. No tack pens available. Their will be plenty of space between pens.
  13. Any fans used must be finger guard protected.
  14. No alcoholic beverages allowed on the property.
  15. Showmanship will begin promptly at 9:00AM Eastern, Saturday, June 21, 2008. Followed by Jr. and Sr. Doe Shows.
  16. Milk will be deposited in a designated tank.
  17. The Junior and Senior shows are separately sanctioned.
  18. Premise ID's are required.
  19. Premiums will be awarded as shown below:

  1. Born on or after April 1 of current year.
  2. Born between March 1 to March 31 current year.
  3. Born between January 1 to February29 current year.
  4. Never fresh-born between June 1 to December 31 previous year.
  5. Never fresh-born on or before May 31 previous year and under 2 years.
