There will be all kinds of food Vendors, Exhibits, and entertainment going on all day.

Rules

  1. The Senior Doe Show are sanctioned by ADGA for the following breeds; Alpine, LaMancha, Nubian, AOP, Saanen, Toggenburg, and Recorded Grade. The Junior Doe Show is sanctioned by the ADGA for the following breeds; Alpine, LaMancha, Nubian, Saanen, Recorded Grade, and AOP. The Senior Doe Show and Junior Doe Show are separately sanctioned.
  2. ADGA rules shall govern these shows.
  3. Entry Fee is $4.00 per animal/per class/per day. Fees must accompany the entry form to the Show Secretary. Checks should be made out to: Tri-State Dairy Goat Association. No fee will be charged for the Showmanship classes.
  4. The base Date is July 26, 2008 -the day of show.
  5. The starting time will be; Saturday 9:30am (Ohio time)
  6. Pens will be available. One tack stall per family will be allowed.
  7. The Original Registration Certificate or Stamped Duplicate Application Form from the ADGA office is required for all animals under 6 months of age and this must be shown to the Show Secretary before the start of the show.
  8. The Original Registration Papers are required for all animals 6 months of age or older. This must be shown to the Show SEcretary before the start of the show.
  9. NO copies of registration certificate or the stamped application, telegraph, or phone calls will be accepted in lieu of the original certificate.
  10. Proper health papers are required in the state of Ohio for all animals from other states, and msut comply with Ohio regulations. Papers and animals will be checked before the animals are to be penned. Animals showing signs of infectious disease or ill health will be barred from the barns and show ring. Certificate of Veterinary Inspection must be dated within 30 days of the Show. The owner and the Veterinarian must attest to the following statement written on the certificate of veterinary inspection "the Goats in this shipment are not known to be Under any movement restrictions because of crapie, and originate from a tuberculosis free herd." No telephone calls will be accepted in lieu of the correct Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.   11. All animals must be from herds that are registered in the National Scrapies Database. They must be properly tattooed or tagged with the proper identification. For more information on the National Scrapies Database call the S Department of Agriculture (614)469-5602.
  12. No Horned animals are allowed
  13. NO DOGS are allowed in the barns, show arean. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  14. Any person not acting in an honorable manner will be aksed to leave the fairgrounds immediately and not return for the remainder of the show.
  15. The Tri-State Dairy Goat Association, it's members and associates, the Williams County Agricultural Society, and the Williams County Fairgrounds, will not be responsible for the loss, damage, theft, injry, or illness to animal(s), equipment, or persons attending.
  16. A Veterinarian will be on call to settle any dispute on barred animals. The Exhibitor will pay the expenses of the Veterinarian. The Veterinarian decision will be final.
