The IDGA hosts the Hoosier Classic, an ADGA officially sanctioned two ring show which is held on the second weekend of June every year. The Hoosier Classic is moving to a new location this year. The Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex,


1900 E Main St, Danville, IN 46122, is a beautiful facility with many ammenties. The Hoosier Classic has approximately 500 to 700 animals and is one of the larger club shows in the Midwest.  We were approved for the District IV Alpine Specialty and the District IV Nubian Specialty at the Hoosier Classic 2015, the District IV Lamancha Specialty and the District IV Alpine Specialty for the 2016 Hoosier Classic and the District IV Sable Specialty and the District IV Saanen Specialty for the 2017.  

UPDATE:  IDGA has been awarded a District IV Toggenburg Specialty show for the 2019 Hoosier Classic.

47th Annual Hoosier Classic

Our 47th Annual Hoosier Classic will be held Friday June 7 through Sunday June 9, 2019, at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex , 1900 E Main St, Danville, Indiana.
  • 2 Ring Classes include Bucks, Jr Doe, Sr Doe Shows & Showmanship.

  • Meal Information: There will be a meal provided for exhibitors and family on Sat. evening @ 5:00 P.M.
  • Kid Raffle:   Each year, registered kids are donated by accomplished breeders, and a winner will be drawn for one kid. Remaining kids will be available in our live auction, held after the show and exhibitor dinner on Saturday evening. . Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and may be purchased from Marianne Ingle or at the show. Please indicate which kid you wish to receive. If you cannot attend the show but still want to purchase raffle tickets, please email Marianne L. Ingle at marianne.ingle@gmail.com. Please note that kid pickup is the responsibility of the winner and if you cannot attend you must make prior arrangements for kid pick up. Minimum bid on kids in the auction is $350. If you wish to bid by proxy, contact Bonnie Robbins at borobbins@decaturwb.com or at 812-716-0390. Proxy bids must be received by noon on Saturday, June 7.
  • Our IDGA Auction Items of goat supplies, doodads, knickknacks and more will be held after the kid raffle.  
  • All proceeds go to support the IDGA and the Hoosier Classic, one of the largest and most prestigious shows in the U.S. Thank you to the donors and buyers in advance for your support.
  • The Travelers Award. We appreciate the many exhibitors who travel long distances to participate in the Hoosier Classic and annually present this award to the exhibitor traveling farthest.  To qualify, write in your estimated mileage to the fairgrounds on your entry form.
  • Barn prizes given away to those exhibiting animals on both days of the Classic.  
As always, the Hoosier Classic committee and IDGA will be providing exhibitors with a memorable weekend. There will be a food booth available all weekend.
