2018 Hoosier Classic

The IDGA hosts the Hoosier Classic, an ADGA officially sanctioned two ring show which is held on the second weekend of June each year at the Wayne Co. Fairgrounds, 861 Salisbury Rd, Richmond, IN. The Hoosier Classic has approximately 500 to 700 animals and is one of the larger club shows in the Midwest.  We were approved for the District IV Alpine Specialty and the District IV Nubian Specialty at the Hoosier Classic 2015, the District IV Lamancha Specialty and the District IV Alpine Specialty for the 2016 Hoosier Classic and the District IV Sable Specialty and the District IV Saanen Specialty for the 2017.

46th Annual Hoosier Classic

Our 46th Annual Hoosier Classic will be held Saturday June 9 & Sunday June 10, 2018, at the Wayne Co. Fairgrounds, 861 Salisbury Rd, Richmond, Indiana.  
  • 2 Ring Classes include Bucks, Jr Doe, Sr Doe Shows & Showmanship. 
  • Judges will be Tim Flickenger and Jake Bradford.
  • Show Secretary for Ring A is Patty Baker  (765-332-2081) and Show Secretary for Ring B is Evy Ingle (574-699-6233).
  • There will be a meal provided for exhibitors and family at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday June 9th.  
  • Kid Raffle follows meal.  Each year, registered kids are donated by accomplished breeders.  We have made a change this year and all kids will be raffled off by breed. Tickets are $1.00 each, 6 for $5.00, 12 for $10.00, 18 for $15.00, 24 for $20.00 and 30 for $25.00.   Tickets may be purchased from Marianne L. Ingle or at the show.  To purchase tickets or if you cannot attend the show but still want to purchase raffle tickets, please email Marianne L. Ingle at marianne.ingle@gmail.com, or leave Visitor Post message on IDGA Facebook Page or PM Marianne L. Ingle on Facebook. Please note that kid pickup is the responsibility of the winner and if you cannot attend you must make prior arrangements for kid pick up.
  • Our IDGA Auction Items of goat supplies, doodads, knickknacks and more will be held after the kid raffle.  To donate auction items or more information about donating, contact Crystal Miller-Servies on Facebook or email her at crystalservies@gmail.com
    If you want to help but don't know what to donate? Crystal has found several items that would be nice for the auction. Consider sponsoring one of these items. Prices start at $15.  You can now donate online for auction items using PayPal below.   
  • Raffle Donation Options

  • All proceeds go to support the IDGA and the Hoosier Classic, one of the largest and most prestigious shows in the U.S. Thank you to the donors and buyers in advance for your support.
  • The Travelers Award. We appreciate the many exhibitors who travel long distances to participate in the Hoosier Classic and annually present this award to the exhibitor traveling farthest.  To qualify, write in your estimated mileage to the fairgrounds on your entry form.
  • Barn prizes given away to those exhibiting animals on both days of the Classic.  
As always, the Hoosier Classic committee and IDGA will be providing exhibitors with a memorable weekend. There will be a food booth available all weekend.
